  Eddie McDonald is the most amazing, efficient and "on the spot" person when trouble. He was always looking out for us and so willing to take care of the issues this year. We are grateful for his care. The house kind of fell apart and we had to show it and always had it ready.

  We used this house for the over-flow of guests at my brother's house for Thanksgiving. We didn't cook at the house, but would have been able to easily. Very well stocked kitchen. Beds were all very comfortable too. We would definitely rent this again if it's available. Gorgeous view of the lake!

  The house was bigger than we thought so had lots of room. It was well stocked and had a fireplace and great outdoor space. The last half-mile is a one lane gravel road, but not too bad.

  The rental was fabulous. Had everything we needed, was clean, and the location and view were absolutely incredible! We had a minor issue that was resolved within an hour. Great response time from the host. Would love to go back again in the summer time!

  A really lovely spot- Very nice log-cabin style home. Central AC/heat. Nice kitchen appliances/appointments. No complaints.
  It's a lovely spot on Lake Glenville BUT no access to waterside that I could see. NO big deal for this stay as we were just looking for a quiet place on the lake as a home base while we explored the area.
  As other reviews have stated, its at the end of a long and windy gravel road. It's only 20 minutes to Cashiers, but it's not "on the way" to anywhere, so plan accordingly.
  NOT complaining, we read the other reviews and knew what to expect, location-wise and planned our daily outings accordingly.
  Really lovely view from the porch each morning/evening.

  We chose to stay at this cabin in the winter. The house was beautiful. The view is espectacular but there should be a warning that the two miles before reaching the house that is a one lane dirt/pebble road for both directions of traffic. If there is snow or ice you need an all wheel vehicle to safely arrive. We did not have WiFi or tv because of the storm.
